Our project is part of this year's 24 Good Deeds Advent Calendar: A Christmas Calendar with true purpose and Christmas spirit! Behind one of the doors is a coral transplantation by us: So a new coral will be planted here on our reef for every calendar sold.

CORDAP funded research
We are honored to have been chosen together with our research partners in a CORDAP funded project for next generation pro-biotics - a possible game changer for reefs.

CBASS - Science informed reef restauration
Together with Professor Voolstra we have established the grounds for a true chance for a succesfful and long lasting coral restauration here at Gili Asahan: The so called CBASS testing to be able to identify the most heat and thus climate change resiliant corals. A focus on transplanting these corals will give the reef a fighting chance in the upcoming years.

UNRAM - local university collaboration
We are honored to be working together with the university of Mataram UNRAM on several research projects and to activiley support their students with scolarships for conducting their thesis with us.
